I opened my Better Cakez bakery because I wanted to rethink cake – with up to 30% vegetables, plant-based, gluten-free and free from refined sugar. So you can enjoy without guilt and your body feels just as good as it tastes.
In 2018, I developed severe health problems.
I lost a lot of weight, felt constantly dizzy, couldn’t eat anything without stomach pain, my hair started falling out and I developed skin problems.
After a long marathon of doctor visits...
I finally found out that all my problems were caused by gluten and lactose intolerance. From then on, I had to strictly avoid them so my issues would disappear.
But I looove cake more than anything…
and suddenly I couldn’t eat my beloved cakes anymore. By the way, that’s me here with the best view, hehe.
Then this happened…
While preparing for my state exam in law, I spent 2 years experimenting with cakes to create one that tastes sinfully delicious, that I can eat despite all my health issues, and that’s simply healthier.
My friends were thrilled…
They were so excited that they convinced me to open a healthier cake bakery after my law state exam. Here we go!
